This image of my dad, still sharp in my mind, has a profound influence on me today--I love to help people out of pain and regain themselves, their lives, their livelihood, their tasks, and the function of daily life. Even better than before their injury--to get stronger, more able, have better posture, movement, and a better quality of life.

My name is Dr. Daniel O'Connor and I've been a chiropractor for 19 years. I've had an office in Plainfield for over 15 years. I like to keep life simple. My daily plan is to help others have a better day because I am able to help them. When I take on a new patient, I treat that person as if it was my own symptom or painful condition, from the more minor pains to the very severe "difficult cases''. My aim is to treat and defeat the source of pain. I graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic, "The Fountainhead of Chiropractic" in 2004, Summa Cum Laude, and second in my graduating class. I have an undergraduate degree in Biology from Augustana College.

Personally, I enjoy connecting with people. I am a life-long learner. Exercise is part of who I am. I am a person of faith. I enjoy being outside in the sunshine and marveling at the intricacies of the natural world. I love holidays and big family dinners. Important time is time spent with my nieces and nephew. Dogs are part of my family. I have an identical twin, Dave, whom I've known my whole life. He is my helper, my office manager, who does a wonderful job.
